Strategy Team Development

“Faced with the current economic times, we have had to quickly make some very difficult decisions. Before our work with Leadership Partners, these decisions would have taken much longer and would have been based on what’s ‘best for each department’ rather than on ‘what’s best for the company overall.’”
Tom McGough, Thompson Tractor

A strategy team is composed of a
cross section of leaders who are tasked with assessing the progress of change within an organization and to coordinate the actions of all teams regarding the change initiative.

The team’s responsibility is to facilitate the change effort and identify the possibility of needed action rather than dictate solutions. Strategy team development allows the functional teams to stay in control of the change, but serves to objectively critique and challenge the change effort in order to insure the best possible direction is being taken.
